Nearly 100 per cent of UAE population is vaccinated

More than 89 million PCR tests have been conducted.

More than 96 per cent of the UAE population have received their first COVID-19 dose.

The news revealed by the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) on its social channels revealed that 86.21 per cent of the population is fully vaccinated

The total number of doses administered in the country stands at more than 20 million.

 

 

Currently more than 89 million PCR tests have been conducted in the UAE with 4,171 active cases at the time of writing.

The news follows hot on the heels of the launch of the MoHAP’s seasonal flu vaccine campaign.

A shot is priced at AED 50, however, pregnant women, people over 50 and people with chronic diseases can receive their jab free of charge.
