It’s back: RTA resumes bus routes to Global Village

Rta Resumes Bus Routes To Global Village

Dubai’s RTA brings back four bus routes for hassle-free travel to Global Village Dubai

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has officially resumed its dedicated bus services to Global Village, making it easier than ever for visitors to reach one of Dubai’s top attractions.

The four routes cover major areas, offering accessible and convenient travel options for visitors from around the city.

Route 102 from Rashidiya Bus Station runs every 60 minutes, while Route 103 from Union Bus Station operates every 40 minutes.

Additionally, Route 104 departs from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station every 60 minutes, and Route 106 from Mall of the Emirates follows the same frequency.

The popularity of these routes continues to grow, with last season’s RTA Global Village bus service recording a 22 per cent increase in ridership.

The service saw an impressive 573,759 passengers, up from 448,716 in the previous year, reflecting the high demand and growing popularity of Global Village as a multicultural family destination.

With this year’s routes back in operation, even more visitors are expected to benefit from the convenience of direct transportation.

In addition to the bus routes, the RTA has also reintroduced its popular tourist abra services at Global Village, featuring two eco-friendly, electric-powered abras.

These abras offer guests a relaxing, scenic journey around the venue, enhancing the experience with unique waterfront views and a traditional, charming way to explore the park’s attractions.

Running until 11 May, Global Village continues to be a standout on Dubai’s annual events calendar, drawing in both residents and tourists alike.

With a blend of international pavilions, live entertainment, cultural exhibits, and family-friendly activities, Global Village is an essential stop for those seeking diverse experiences in one location.

Whether by bus or abra, the RTA’s convenient transport options are helping visitors make the most of Dubai’s cultural hub this season.
