A nearly 10 km-long hiking trail with multiple tracks suitable for beginners and professionals has been set up at Dubai’s Mushrif Park.

Featuring an 8.3km yellow recreational and easy-to-follow trail, there’s also a 1.4km orange sports path designed to provide a safe and secure environment for hikers to practice their hobby.

The new trail will open to the public on 20 June, remaining free and open all year round.

“It consists of various sculptures, wooden stairways and bridges, slopes and rest areas, which provide a comprehensive view of the landscape and wildlife in Mushrif Park. To assist hikers and guarantee their safety, administrative and supervisory employees are also stationed at the track locations,” said Ahmed Al Zarooni, Director of the Public Parks and Recreational Facilities Department in Dubai Municipality.
