Visitors’ vaccines will appear on the app.

The Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT) has introduced a new process to verify international vaccination certificates to support the green pass initiative on the Al Hosn app.

Travellers will be able to register their vaccination certificate or vaccination exemption document for verification five days before they travel to Abu Dhabi online via Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) or the ICA smart app.

Applicants will receive a SMS confirmation that will include a link to the Al Hosn app which needs to be downloaded prior to landing at Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Travellers will receive their Unified ID number from airport immigration or via the ICA Smart app which will then be used to complete the registration on the aforementioned app.

The news comes after The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has announced that all vaccinated travellers landing at Abu Dhabi International Airport will not have to quarantine from Sunday 5 September.
