Travelling in Dubai on the weekend just got easier and traffic free thanks to Dubai RTA’s latest announcement
Tired of the Dubai-Sharjah traffic on weekends? Take the new buses instead!
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is rolling out a new weekend bus line connecting Stadium Metro Station with Al Mamzar Beach.

The new W20 bus will operate from Friday to Sunday between 5pm and 11pm, departing every 30 minutes. The Dubai RTA has also announced a number of new public bus lines to improve the daily transportation of passengers by reducing journey times.

The development includes renaming a number of existing lines including; Line 11B to Line 11 and lines 16A and 16B will be renamed to lines No. 16 and 25 respectively.
The changes mean the line starting from the Al Rashidiya bus station to Al Awir will become line 16, and the line that starts from the Gold Souq bus station to Al Rashidiya will become line 25.
Amendments will also be made to some line routes, the aim of which is to improve daily commuters. These are: Line F62, whose route will be extended to Dubai Festival City and the Al Garhoud area. Line C04 will be extended to the Mohammed bin Rashid Library. Line 103 and Line 106 will run directly from the main stations to Global Village without stopping. E303 line will be diverted via Al Ittihad Street to Sharjah. On the aforementioned date, the following lines will be cancelled: (16A, 16B, and 64A).
