The updated tariffs will apply to all public parking zones, including A, B, C, and D
Parking rates in select areas of Dubai will increase this week, with premium charges set to begin at AED 6 per hour.
These changes are part of a new pricing structure introduced by Parkin Company, which has classified parking zones into two categories: “Premium” and “Standard.” Rates will also vary depending on peak and off-peak hours.
The “Premium” zones include high-demand areas such as Downtown Dubai, Business Bay, Deira, and Jumeirah, often near key public transport links, shopping centers, and business districts.
These zones are designed to meet the needs of busy, densely populated areas where parking is in high demand.
The updated tariffs will apply to all public parking zones, including A, B, C, and D, though they will exclude public holidays.
Peak hours are defined as 8 am to 10 am and 4 pm to 8 pm, during which higher charges will be implemented.

For “Standard” parking slots, pricing will remain unchanged during off-peak hours (10 am to 4 pm and 8 pm to 10 pm), following the previous tariff structure.
Free parking will still be available overnight, from 10 pm to 8 am, as well as on Sundays and public holidays.
Parkin also noted that after discussions with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), 40 per cent of public parking spaces will now be designated as Premium, a slight increase from the original 35 per cent.
In addition, Parkin operates more than 3,200 spaces in multi-storey car parks, where the current rate of AED 5 per hour remains unchanged, with a maximum charge of AED 40 for stays over eight hours in a 24-hour period.
Furthermore, a special AED 25 per hour fee will apply to around 200 parking spaces near the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) during major events, running from 8 am to 10 pm.
