RTA announces new changes on Dubai Metro

Metro in dubai

The metro expansion aims to enhance public transport usage, reduce carbon emissions, and improve travel efficiency across Dubai

As of last Friday, 3 August, Dubai Metro has implemented separate trips for the Expo 2020 and UAE Exchange stations.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced that commuters must ensure they board the correct train, as display screens at stations will indicate the train’s route.

This change follows the RTA’s April initiative to streamline travel on the Red Line, eliminating the need to change trains at the Jabal Ali Interchange Station.

The metro expansion aims to enhance public transport usage, reduce carbon emissions, and improve travel efficiency across Dubai.
