In a significant ceremony at Al Noor Island, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, unveiled the emirate’s new identity.

The identity, a reflection of Sharjah’s visual and cultural essence, celebrates its rich heritage in arts and culture. Attended by dignitaries and officials, including Sheikh Khalid Bin Isam Bin Saqer Al Qassimi and His Excellency Dr Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, the launch marked a milestone in Sharjah’s global stature.

According to Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed, the new identity is a testament to the visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi. It embodies Sharjah’s commitment to growth across various fields, offering top-notch services and incentives.

Developed to highlight Sharjah’s strengths and attractiveness for tourism, living, working, studying, and investing, the identity serves as an open invitation for the world to explore the emirate’s richness and diversity.

As Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed toured Noor Island, he observed artistic displays showcasing the significance of Sharjah’s new identity. Derived from the emirate’s rich history and distinctive features, the identity signals Sharjah’s progression into the future with a proactive mindset.

It emphasises essential strengths, solidifying Sharjah’s position as a premier destination for living, tourism, and investment through diverse initiatives and experiences.

 

Sharjah New Identity

 

Sharjah, recognised for its urban development, cultural legacy, and environmental sustainability, holds numerous accolades.

The new identity aligns with Sharjah’s continuous growth, exemplified by a 5.2% increase in the growth rate in 2022, reaching AED 136.9 billion. The emirate’s international acclaim is reinforced by Sharjah International Airport, hosting over 15 million tourists from 100 destinations in 2023, establishing it as a major gateway.

The new identity encapsulates Sharjah’s offerings to residents, investors, students, and tourists.

Beyond its natural environment and ancient cultural heritage, Sharjah provides diverse facilities and destinations enriching experiences and well-being.

From popular markets like “Al Arsa Market” to natural wonders like Khorkalba’s mangrove trees, Sharjah offers unique and integrated experiences, allowing individuals to explore, learn, and enjoy art at the “Sharjah Arts Foundation.”

Additionally, the emirate hosts numerous cultural, theatrical, and heritage events, including the globally renowned “Sharjah International Book Fair.”
