Sole dxb announced kaytranada, tyla and miguel as headliners

Kaytranada, Tyla and Miguel lead the way

Sole DXB, one of the coolest festivals around, has announced the first batch of performers coming to play in the UAE.

Starting things off will be Haitian-born, Montreal-based DJ and Producer Kaytranada on Friday 12 December. One of the most influential producers and DJs worldwide, he blends electronic, hip hop, and R&B.

He will be followed by South African Tyla on Saturday 13 December. The singer needs no introduction – or actually, just a one word introduction, Water. Her single was everywhere and earned her first-ever GRAMMY® Award for Best African Music Performance.

And finally, on Sunday 14 December, it will be time for American R&B icon Miguel. Expect to hear (and sing, loudly) all his hits, from Adorn to Sure Thing.

Rajat Malhotra, Sole DXB Partner said: “At Sole DXB, we program as fans first. This year, we’re proud to bring Kaytranada, Tyla, and Miguel to our Main Stage. Together, this multigenre trifecta defines the best in contemporary music and is our point of view on where global sound is today.”

Alongside the first headliners (and more to be announced), Sole DXB will also have the usual experiences beyond the stage that it’s known for.

Bringing together international and regional brands, there will be original collaborations, exclusive products, and creative activations. You can experience talks, tournaments, and brand showcases, and even an expanded culinary lineup.

The 2024 edition set the bar sky-high, with GRAMMY® winner James Blake, Afrobeats powerhouse Tems, South Africa’s The Joy, and Atlanta rapper J.I.D lighting up the stage, alongside breakout names like Hev Abi and TUL8TE.

Over the years, the festival has welcomed icons from Wu-Tang Clan and Nas to Jorja Smith, Stormzy, Petra Collins and even basketball legend Scottie Pippen.
