The Art of Recycling: Final judging to take place next week

All shortlisted entries will receive a special gift.

Stop what you are doing as we have some massive news about The Art of Recycling competition.

The biggest Abu Dhabi competition of 2022 will reach a crescendo next week as the judges grab their clipboards and study every brush stroke, every fold and feather and more to decide our winners.

Judges Azza Al Qubaisi, Emirati Artist; Tala Nassar, David Webb Museum Fellow NYUAD Art Gallery; Emma Barber Managing Director of DGRADE; James Matthews DCT, Abu Dhabi at Manarat Al Saadiyat at Art Studio as the Education Workshop Manager; will cast their eyes on 120 shortlisted entries from nine categories that are proudly being showcased in the atrium of Abu Dhabi Mall on Level 1.

And when the final tallies and votes have been counted, we will reveal our winners to each category of The Art of Recycling.

But wait, there’s more.

Regardless if you make it to the winner’s podium or not, Yalla – Abu Dhabi Life and Abu Dhabi Mall wish to express our gratitude to all those who have participated in The Art of Recycling competition.

Every single participant who is shortlisted will receive a special gift if they collect their artwork before Thursday 26 August (after the judging has been concluded).

Collection times from Abu Dhabi Mall are open from Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 6pm.

Non shortlisted entries to The Art of Recycling can already collect their artworks from the Paris Gallery (opposite Yamanote Café) on Level 1 of Abu Dhabi Mall where they too will receive a special gift.
