Prepare for liftoff, space geeks!

In another cosmic leap for the UAE, the country has secured the bid to host COSPAR 2028, the world’s largest space research event.

The announcement is another significant step in the UAE breaking ground in the ‘space race’ as just recently it was announced that people will be able to travel to the outer limits from Abu Dhabi in a couple of years.

This latest historic achievement with COSPAR will bring over 3,000 space enthusiasts to the UAE, making it the ultimate nerd-fest in the Middle East.

Sheikh Hamdan took to his official X account to share the stellar news, thanking the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre for their rocket-fueled efforts.

With the UAE firmly planted as a key hub for the global scientific community, it’s clear the nation is shooting for the stars – literally.

So, if you’ve ever dreamed of discussing black holes over baklava or contemplating cosmic rays with a side of camel milk, COSPAR 2028 in the UAE is your next destination.

The sky is no longer the limit in the UAE, pardon the pun!
