Other measures for vaccinated travellers to the UAE have also been removed.
If you are travelling to the UAE, you will no longer need to present a pre-departure negative PCR test result to enter the UAE.
The announcement made by the National Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Management (NCEMA) revealed that vaccinated travellers will need to present an approved COVID-19 vaccination certificate containing a QR code instead.
Unvaccinated travellers will need to present a negative PCR test result not exceeding 48 hours upon arrival at check-in at their departure airport.
They can also submit a health certificate that possesses a QR code that details they recovered within a month of the travel date.
Good news! No PCR test needed to fly to Abu Dhabi if you are fully vaccinated, hold a COVID-19 recovery certificate or are under 16 years old.

Guests who are departing or transiting through Abu Dhabi also do not need a PCR test, unless it is a requirement of their end destination. Vaccination certificates must have a QR code.
The news comes as Abu Dhabi relaxed a number of COVID-19 measures that saw the removal of the green list and the mandatory enforcement of facemasks outside.
Other relaxed measures include the requirement to wear a wristband for new COVID-19 cases during home quarantine and quarantine for those in close contact with COVID-19 cases being removed as well as the removal of the Abu Dhabi/Dubai border where you will no longer need to present a green pass on the Al Hosn app to enter the emirate.
