UAE residents can travel to Singapore

Passengers will need to submit a travel application.

Looking at a cheeky getaway this Christmas?

Well you can add Singapore into the mix of potential destinations as the South-East Asian country has opened up a vaccinated travel lane (VTL) with the UAE.

Coming into effect on 6 December, the VTL will see vaccinated passengers from the UAE able to travel to Singapore provided they have filled out a vaccinated travel pass (VTP) at least seven days prior to their arrival with the pass being valid for six calendar days.

Applications for vaccinated UAE residents open on 29 November but they must meet five key criteria in order to gain permission to enter Singapore.

These requirements include being fully vaccinated with WHO approved Covid-19 vaccines at least two weeks prior to travelling to Singapore, and they must obtain vaccination certificates via their Al Hosn app.
