UAE vaccination rate closing in 100 per cent

More than 83 million PCR tests have been conducted.

More than 93 per cent of the UAE population have received their first COVID-19 dose in the UAE.

The news revealed in a tweet by the Ministry of Health and Prevention also revealed that 82.69 per cent of the population is fully vaccinated making it one of the highest vaccination rates in the world.

 

 

The total number of doses that are administered in the country as of now stands at more than 19 million.

The news follows hot on the heels on the announcement that facemasks will not be mandatory in certain social situations.

Residents in the UAE do not have to wear a facemask when exercising in public places and while in private vehicles for those living in the same house.

Currently more than 83 million PCR tests have been conducted in the UAE.
