2025 As The Year Of Community

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has announced 2025 as the Year of Community

With Ramadan and the season of spiritual reflection and giving just around the corner, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has further bolstered the good feel vibes by announcing 2025 as the Year of Community.

This national initiative, carried under the slogan ‘Hand in Hand,’ embodies the leadership’s vision of a stronger, more cohesive, and empowered community.

The Year of Community aims to reinforce the importance of family and community bonds by preserving cultural heritage, nurturing intergenerational connections, and creating inclusive spaces that foster collaboration, belonging, and shared experiences.

The initiative encourages all who call the UAE home, citizens and residents alike, to actively participate in community service, volunteering, and initiatives that promote a culture of shared responsibility.

It also seeks to unlock the potential of individuals, families, and organizations by developing skills, nurturing talents, and supporting innovation in key sectors such as entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, and other national priorities, ensuring inclusive growth and lasting positive impact.

The initiative will be led by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, along with Her Highness Sheikha Mariam bint Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairperson of the Presidential Court for National Projects.

Over the course of the year, a variety of events and initiatives will be launched to further strengthen community cohesion, uphold Emirati values, and provide an environment where everyone can contribute to the nation’s growth and prosperity.

The initiative also invites members of the community to share their ideas and proposals to enhance social bonds, celebrate the UAE’s cultural diversity, and support the nation’s collective progress.
