3 November marks UAE Flag Day, but will it mean a public holiday this year in the UAE?
Every year on 3 November, the UAE celebrates Flag Day, a day dedicated to honouring the country’s unity and legacy.
This year it falls on a Sunday, commemorating the anniversary of HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan becoming the UAE’s President in 2004.
Launched in 2013 by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the campaign is a symbol of national pride, celebrating the UAE’s past, present, and future.
Will we get a day off for UAE Flag Day?
Now, the big question: Do we get a day off?
Unfortunately, Flag Day isn’t a public holiday, so it’s business as usual.
But don’t worry – the UAE still makes a spectacular display!
Flags proudly fly high on government buildings, malls, homes, and cars, painting the nation in vibrant red, green, white and black.
