There’s a Halloween party in the desert coming up in Dubai

Halloween sonara camp

Two nights of spooky desert mischief are in store

The Dubai Desert comes alive with mischief, and a pinch of spookiness this Halloween as Sonara Camp unveils ‘Witches of the Dunes’ on 31 October and 1 November.

Think Wicked vibes, desert dunes, and a night where family fun and foodie delights collide under the stars.

From the moment you arrive, whimsical witches hand out treats and surprises, while camels join the trick-or-treat fun across the golden sands.

Kids dive into treasure hunts, face painting, and a dedicated spooky playground, while adults sip themed mixed drinks like “Pick Your Poison” and enjoy sunset canapés amid jaw-dropping desert views.

The culinary journey takes Halloween seriously (but deliciously). Chef Gregory Khellouf conjures up pumpkin cauldron soup, black hummus, Angus beef tagliata, and finishes with coffin brownies and ghostly meringues.

Mini food stations keep the energy high with cotton candy, waffles, burgers, and ice cream topped for Halloween flair.

As night falls, the desert transforms into a magical open-air stage. Be mesmerised by fire shows, Tanoura dancers, Dia de los Muertos performances, and a spooky twist on Thriller.

Pathways glow with liquid nitrogen effects, witches’ hats adorn every table, and Polaroids capture the evening’s enchanting memories.

You can choose your level of magic: Sunset Experience (AED 590), Dinner Experience (AED 790), or the full Sunset & Dinner package (AED 990). Kids get their own special pricing too, so the whole family can join the spellbinding fun.

For two nights only, Sonara Camp casts a spell over the Dubai Desert, but hurry, this exclusive Halloween adventure is limited!

31-0ctober to 1 November, Sonara Camp, Dubai. For bookings, call  050 336 790
