Wizz Air Abu Dhabi announces new Moscow route

It is the airline’s 33rd destination since launching in January.

Are you looking for a winter getaway from Abu Dhabi this December?

Well, it’s good news as Wizz Air Abu Dhabi has announced that it is launching direct flights to one of the coldest cities on earth during the winter; Moscow.

Taking off in December, the UAE’s ultra-low-fare national airline will be operating four times a week on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday before ramping up to a flight a day in February.

The addition to Moscow to its portfolio brings Wizz Air Abu Dhabi’s flight destinations to a total off 33 since it first took flight in January 2021.

Speaking on the announcement, Managing Director of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, Kees Van Schaick said: “We’re pleased to announce Moscow as the latest addition to our route network – the travel route between the UAE and Russia has for a long time been popular and we’re looking forward to increasing traffic between the two countries.”
