Café del Mar, Lock Stock & Barrel, Asia Asia and more.
It’s the news Abu Dhabians have been waiting for; Yas Bay Waterfront is officially open.
The mega-lifestyle district on Yas Island is shaping up to be one of the UAE’s premiere waterfront destinations with a host of world-class dining options, internationally acclaimed entertainment and premier leisure experiences.
Developed by Miral, Yas Bay Waterfront will feature Pier71 and a 3km boardwalk as well as Etihad Arena and five-star Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island.
On the food front, you can expect the likes of some heavy hitters of the UAE’s culinary scene like Paradiso, Akiba Dori, Hunter and Barrel, Lock, Stock & Barrel, Café del Mar, Asia Asia and more.
Speaking at the official opening which coincided with the UAE’s 50 National Day celebrations, Chief Portfolio Officer at Miral, Gurjit Singh, said Yas Bay Waterfront is another example of Yas Island’s billing as top tourist destination for entertainment and business.
He said: “We are delighted to see visitors enjoy all that Yas Bay Waterfront has to offer. The waterfront is a key component of Yas Island, enforcing the island’s position as a top global destination for entertainment, leisure and business.
“This milestone is a testament to Miral’s successful track record in developing award-winning attractions and mixed-use projects in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.”
Yas Bay Waterfront cut the ribbons on 1 December at a stunning ceremony which saw an all-UAE themed parade with an Emirati flag performance, Emirati marching drummers and Ayallah dancers rounded off by a huge fireworks’ display.
