A Yas Bay Waterfront water shuttle has been launched and here is where you can travel

Tickets are only AED 5.

Leave the car in the garage and take to the water as Yas Bay Waterfront launches a new water shuttle.

Ferrying passengers across Yas Marina and Yas Bay waterfront, the two-month programme will see visitors able to climb aboard at stops at Al Bandar and Al Muneera on Al Raha Beach.

Operated by The Yellow Boats Charter LLC, two shuttles which can carry up to 20 passengers per trip, will be in operation with one boat setting sail from 2pm to 10pm while the other will move along the stations from 5 pm to 11 pm.

A full circulation will last for 40 minutes with prices set at AED 5 for an adult and free for under 12s.

The first of its kind on Yas Island, the shuttle is the first part of a plan to develop the island’s marine transport and it is hoped to bolster accessibility to neighbouring communities.

Speaking on the launch, Taghrid Al Saeed, Executive Director of Marketing and Destination Strategy at Miral, said: “We are delighted to introduce this pilot programme, strengthening Yas Island’s connectivity with a new mode of waterways transportation.

“Visitors will gain a new perspective by travelling on Yas Island’s waterways, easily accessing its popular world-class offerings.

“We are confident that this water shuttle will appeal to all our guests and look forward to expanding further across the island, further positioning it a global destination for entertainment and leisure.”
