Their mission is to empower students to fulfil their potential and be successful global citizens and their vision is to be committed, compassionate individuals who positively enhance the lives of others.
The school believes in instilling a lifelong philosophy in students that enables them to be positive contributors to the community and society, be prepared to tackle unknown challenges and encourage them to utilise their power to observe, think, analyse and reflect in a critical manner.
This philosophy is based on carefully thought-out core values that students are expected to adopt and make an integral part of their personality through their educational journey at school.
They enable children to have big dreams, believe in themselves, explore and discover the world they live in, and design innovative and creative solutions for problems, preparing them for the next steps and teaching them to be lifelong learners who Own their Future.

Queen International School is a place where the concern is not only the child’s academic progress but the whole child, ensuring that by the time they leave, they not only achieve the qualifications they require but also the life-skills to be successful in today’s world.
This means that the work revolves completely around each individual child so that they can achieve their potential, academically, socially and emotionally.
At Queen, they pursue very high standards of teaching and learning and invest extensive time and effort in the professional development of their teaching staff.
The teachers seek to challenge and inspire students with high expectations and use a variety of teaching methods that enable students to reach their potential.
Their approach to learning therefore involves:
- Emphasis on subject knowledge and passion on the part of the teacher in order to inspire a love of the subject in their pupils
- Experiential learning is the starting point for all learning
- Classroom teaching that carries the lesson to students with vigour and pace and stretches students beyond the constraints of the syllabus
- Attention is given to questioning techniques in order to mix higher-level complex questions with more straightforward questions
- Well-structured lessons that involve group work and individual work, supported by stimulating resources
