A fully inclusive, not-for-profit leader in the sector, our heritage alongside our strong vision has ensured a well-established global reputation.
As an ‘outstanding’ rated British School in Dubai, we pride ourselves in cultivating a strong sense of community at DESSC and that supportive community is abundant. We value partnerships and collaboration with our parents, with many opportunities for parents to get and be involved.

By heavily focusing on pastoral care, we nurture well-rounded and self-confident students, to help them to develop the skills they need to manage the next steps in their future.
DESSC’s outstanding academic performance reflects the expertise, commitment and enthusiasm that our teachers inject into both school and college life. Testament to the fact that all pupils, whatever their particular strengths, are helped to achieve their full academic potential. Excellent examination results are an opportune consequence of the way that we teach and learn at DESSC.

TSPS provides learners with an active and engaging experience that embraces 21st-century skills and recognises that these skills are essential in an ever-changing world.
They aim for Bahraini and expatriate students to become the next generation of scientists and scholars as well as leaders of their countries, raising aspirations amongst community members to make a significant contribution to the local and global economy.
Students begin their educational journey in Foundation Stage 1 (FS1) where they follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. From Year 1, students move to the English National Curriculum, enhanced and adapted to take account of their multi-cultural student body and status as an international school. In Years 10 and 11, students study for IGCSEs accredited by Cambridge International Exams (CIE), AQA and Edexcel examination boards.
They also offer a range of vocational BTEC First courses for students who want the option of just coursework leading to a qualification rather than examinations. In Years 12 and 13, students have the choice of a wide range of AS and A-level subjects along with some BTEC options.
