FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022: The official mascot for the tournament has been revealed

The mascot is the latest piece of exciting news to be announced for the tournament.

It has been a busy few days for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 with the release of the official match ball, the confirmation of 29 teams and the official world cup draw.

And another major announcement has just been made with the unveiling of the official mascot, La’eeb.

Yes, the cute little mascot who belongs to a parallel mascot-verse, will bring the joy of football to everyone present in Qatar and around the globe come the end of November.

Meaning super-skilled player, La’eeb encourage everyon to believe in themselves and will as ‘Now is All’.

 

 

Based on the premise that La’eeb is a figment of our football imaginations, he is whoever we want him to be and has participated in every past edition and helped to create some of the most memorable moments and iconic goals in FIFA World Cup history.

Khalid Ali Al Mawlawi, Deputy Director General, Marketing, Communications and Tournament Experience, Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, said; “We are delighted to unveil La’eeb as the Official Mascot for the first FIFA World Cup in the Middle East and Arab world.

“He comes from the mascot-verse – a place that is indescribable. We encourage everyone to imagine what it looks like.
