Four new hi-tec padel tennis courts are coming to Abu Dhabi later this year

The courts will be replete with a music system.

If you love grabbing a racket and a ball and enjoying a game of padel tennis then we have some smashing news for you; Yas Island is opening four new courts.

The sporting craze that has taken ahold of the UAE, will now have a home at the capital’s premier destination fitness and leisure from the second quarter of 2022 at Yas Padel Tennis Hub.

Spread out over 800 square metres, the courts will feature an embedded music system so your energy can remain high into the match points.

You can book the courts and participate in events and competitions by using the club member app where a 60-minute game will cost AED 250.

Vogue Fitness gym members will also enjoy access to special offers and incentives to complement their memberships.

But don’t worry if you have no one to play with as the match-making feature, enables you to face-off against other participants as well as track their booking history.

The new facility is also set to introduce packages and programs for 90 and 120-minute sessions, as well as Ramadan offers and discounted ‘off peak’ rates.

Speaking on the launch of Yas Padel on Yas Marina, Gurjit Singh, Chief Portfolio Officer at Miral, said: “This state-of-the-art facility will offer Yas Island’s residents as well as fitness enthusiasts from across Abu Dhabi the chance to participate in this enjoyable and easy-to-learn sport.

“Yas Padel Tennis Hub is a perfect complement to the plethora of adventurous activities on offer at Yas Marina while also adding to the roster of unique fitness experiences available across Yas Island.”

Played in doubles, participants with different skill levels will have access to professional padel coaches that will provide lessons to beginners, intermediate and advanced players on Yas Island.

The news isn’t the only exciting news for padel tennis fans as the Beach Rotana opened its own hi-tec court last week.
