It’s time to slip into your Lycra and test your body to its limits as registrations for the TriYAS Challenge 2022 are open for all Abu Dhabians.
Now into its 12th season, Yas Marina Circuit’s landmark fitness race will take place on Saturday 12 March where there are 12 categories in which to compete, including the return of the highly popular Duathlon Sprint, involving a 5KM run and a 21KM bike ride before a final 2.5KM run to cross the finish line
Entrants can choose to sign up on an individual basis within the Sprint, Olympic or Super Sprint categories or compete as a member of a team in the Sprint Team Relay and Olympic Team Relay events.
For the first in the event’s history, the TriYAS Challenge will feature a Mixed Relay competition that will see men and women compete together and against each other across a 375m swim, 5km bike, and a 1500m run.
The kids can even get involved with a Junior Triathlon for athletes aged 12 to 16 years, involving a 200-metre swim, 9.9KM bike ride and 2.5KM run
Early bird tickets offering a 25 per cent discount are now available to purchase until 30 January via Yas Marina Circuit.
Participants must be fully vaccinated as well as present the green pass on their Al Hosn app in order to compete.
