The 27th edition of WETEX Dubai is set to take place from 30 September to 2 October at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), proudly hosted by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).

This premier international event highlights the latest advancements in sustainability and clean technologies, bringing together global experts, innovators, and industry leaders.

The event will showcase cutting-edge solutions that are shaping the future of energy and environmental conservation.

Meanwhile, in other sustainability news, the city has just completed a major landscaping initiative, planting over 300,000 trees as part of a project worth AED 190 million.

This effort is aligned with the city’s long-term vision to create a more sustainable and livable urban environment.

In addition to the trees, more than 222,000 square metres of ground cover and flowers have been added along major highways and intersections during the first half of 2025, bringing vibrant greenery and color to key transport routes.

Such initiatives are complementing ongoing infrastructure projects designed to ease traffic flow and support the city’s rapid growth and development.
