What is Big Bus Abu Dhabi?
Big Bus Abu Dhabi is a tour operator that ferries tourists to many of Abu Dhabi’s wonderful landmarks.
Where is Big Bus Abu Dhabi based?
The company is based in Abu Dhabi Mall from where you can purchase tickets and ask more information from their kiosk at the main entrance of the shopping entrance.
What tours does Big Bus Abu Dhabi offer?
Currently the tour operator offers tourists two routes; the red route and the green route. The red route is the City Tour which encompasses 14 different stops where you can hop off and on to visit the city’s major attractions. The green route is the Island Tour which enables you to see the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the Louvre Museum and Yas Island. Both tours commence at Abu Dhabi Mall (stop 1).

What are the major landmarks to see on the Big Bus Abu Dhabi Tour?
The tour allows you to experience some of the best of what Abu Dhabi has at its disposal. Take a ride on the fastest rollercoaster in the world, Formula Rossa, at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi at the Yas Island stop; enjoy afternoon tea at the Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers; catch the light show at Qasr Al Watan at the Presidential Palace stop; learn about the history of Abu Dhabi at Qasr Al Hosn; take a tour of the iconic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque; or pop into see Team Yalla at the Abu Dhabi Mall stop.
What days do Big Bus Abu Dhabi operate?
The City Tour operates from 9am to 6.50pm with the The Island Tour in action from 11am to 3pm. Both tours operate daily with each trip taking approximately one hour and 50 minutes.
What does Big Bus Abu Dhabi look like?
Big Bus Abu Dhabi is instantly recognisble with its maroon colour, trimmed with gold. Each bus is a purpose-built double-decker that comes with air-conditioning and shade for the hotter days in the capital. Each seat is equipped with an audio box providing a bundle of facts for tourists in eight different languages.
Where can we buy tickets?
You can purchase your Big Bus Abu Dhabi ticket at the Abu Dhabi Mall kiosk, onboard or online where you are provided with a 10 per cent discount.
What tickets are available?
Big Bus Abu Dhabi offers you three different tickets; classic, premium and deluxe. The classic provides unlimited bus journeys over a 24-hour period with the premium stub offering you 48 hours to see the city as well as a tour of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
If you are staying in the city for a week or more, plump for the deluxe ticket which offers five days of journeys including tours of the Presidential Palace and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
All tours provide a set of free earphones for you to enjoy the pre-recorded commentary about the city.
