Fireworks on Corniche
UAE National Day will see a colourful display of sky pyrotechnics throughout the emirate of Abu Dhabi. But the grandest of all sky shows will be taking place above the Abu Dhabi Corniche. From Ray’s Bar in Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers to the upper deck of the Azura Panoramic Lounge, there are plenty of top vantage points to gain a terrific view of the fireworks that begin from 9pm. Spartan World Championships
The world’s toughest athletes will be descending on Liwa City to test their strength and stamina on one of the toughest endurance races on the planet, Spartan World Championships. Held outside the USA for the first time, the championships will encompass the Moreeb Dunes and visitors can also enjoy a number of activations including local fare, cultural demonstrations and dune buggies. Abu Dhabi T10 final

Al Hosn Festival
Visit the historical and cultural beating of Abu Dhabi, Qasr Al Hosn, to experience a wonderful display of Emirati culture with a programme full of performances, art installations, film screenings, culinary experiences, crafts and design until 4 December. Sheikh Zayed Festival
Experience one of the world’s most important cultural gatherings during the most important weekend of the year in the UAE. Gus Gus portait at W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island
On UAE National Day, Lucas Beaufort will be crafting a 50m2 mural at the W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island. To be showcased next to the hotel’s Great Room and Palm Garden, the mural will consist of 50 Gus Gus characters dancing among palm trees and Bedouin tents and bridges in recognition of the landscape of Abu Dhabi.
