Free abra rides are now available at this abra station in Dubai

The offer is available for the first five months.

You can now enjoy a free abra ride when you visit the abra and ferry station at Souk Al Marfa on Deira Islands.

Launched under a partnership between Nakheel and Dubai’s Road & Transport Authority (RTA), the free abra ride will available to all visitors for the first five months of the operating service.

You can expect views of the Deira Corniche, Deira Old Souq, Deira Creek and the Gold Souq as you chug along the water.

The new station will see two routes in operation connecting Souk Al Marfa with Dubai’s Old Souq and Deira Old Souq with the 25-minute abra journey operating from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm on weekdays.

At the weekends, the abra service will run from 10am to midday and then again 5pm to 10pm.

More than 900 shops operate at Souk Al Marfa with another 200 expected to open in the close future.

Souq Al Marfa’s operating hours are 10am to 10pm from Monday to Thursday, 2pm to midnight on Friday and 10am to midnight on Saturday and Sunday.
