Golden-battered cod with a batch of hand-cut chips and a side of mushy peas (and maybe a tub of gravy or curry); that’s the standard order of Team Yalla when we call in at The Chippy and Dubai residents will now have the chance to sample some of the best fish and chips in the UAE.
Reminding British and Irish expats of home, the Abu Dhabi establishment has officially announced that it will be serving boxes of its famous takeaway cuisine on Dubai Marina.

Taking it to its social media, the restaurant will locations on Reem Island and Al Seef Village said; “Dubai Marina…we’re coming soon! I’m sure you all can’t wait to sample our menu! Fish & Chips, Chicken Fillet Rolls and Curry Cheese Chips to name a few!”
Famed for its take on British and Irish ‘delicacies’, you can enjoy a chicken fillet roll or a chip sandwich, and of course, treats such as Tayto Crisps, Irn Bru and Cadbury’s chocolate bars.
While the official location and date have yet to be revealed, those in Dubai can finally experience what Abu Dhabians have been raving about for so long.
