Free public parking is now available in Dubai on Sundays

The move is to line up with the new working week.

Public parking in Dubai will now be free-of-charge on Sundays it has been announced.

The move from Friday is in keeping with the new work week that was introduced at the beginning of 2022.

You will now have to pay for public parking from 8am to 10pm from Monday to Saturday expect on public holidays.

Vehicles can be parked for a maximum of four consecutive hours in roadside parking spots and 24 hours in parking lots.

They can also be parked in multi-storey parking facilities for 30 days however, these facilities can charge fees around the clock and seven days-a-week.
