Emirati pop diva Shamma Hamdan to rock Coca-Cola Arena in concert series celebrating Dubai’s World Padel League

The songstress made history as the first Emirati woman finalist of the hit reality show Arabs Got Talent

Emirati sensation Shamma Hamdan takes centerstage at Coca-Cola Arena on 8 June in a concert that is part of an exciting entertainment line-up for the first-ever World Padel League in Dubai.

The powerhouse performer made history as the first Emirati woman to reach the finals of the hit reality show Arabs Got Talent.

Shamma has since been rocking the Middle East music scene with hits like Moajaba, Anadt Feek and Abee Afham. The songstress has become one of the UAE’s most adored pop stars with her distinctly powerful voice and unique sense of style.

The Emirati singer’s performance joins a long list of premiere concerts and shows happening at the Coca-Cola Arena, which includes the Disney Princess – The Concert and the Dubai Comedy Festival.

Born and raised in Dubai, Shamma started playing piano, guitar and drums since she was five, and her passion for singing followed at the age of nine. Her career soared to new heights in 2012 after her Arabs Got Talent success, and since then she has been churning out hit singles and teaming up with top-notch artists, even gracing the Middle East version of Coke Studio alongside British singer Jay Sean.

Shamma picked up the Best Female Singer award at The Murex D’Or Awards in 2014 and The Emirates Film Competition in 2015. She also snagged the Best Middle East Act at The MTV Europe Music Awards.

But this musical powerhouse is not just all about the tunes. Shamma is a fierce advocate for women’s rights and actively supports charities like the United Nations Women’s Empowerment Fund.

Shamma’s performance is among a series of four concerts that will spice up the first-ever World Padel League that will run from 8-11 June. The tournament will have four teams, featuring 24 of the world’s top-ranked padel players.
