Harvard Business School alumni now has a permanent home in Dubai

The House is where HBS alumni and their extended community can connect, collaborate and learn

Dubai is now home to a new permanent hub that will serve a global network of over 400,000 alumni of the Harvard Business School (HBS).

The Harvard Business School Club of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has launched “The House”, which aims to be a place for HBS alumni and the extended community to connect, collaborate and learn.

The new facility supports the UAE’s continuing efforts to enhance the education sector, with initiatives such as Mohamed bin Zayed Award for Best Teacher, which celebrate teachers across the UAE.

There are currently 1,400 alumni in the region who will benefit from the dedicated space, which is the first permanent location of the HBS Club in the GCC.

As a prominent think tank, The House is expected to actively engage with government institutions and non-governmental organisations to provide valuable insights, expertise and perspectives to shape policies and strategies for economic growth and resilience.

The House will also further enhance HBS’s Crossroads initiative, which brings together global Harvard experts to focus on the challenges facing the GCC and the world, such as education, food security, health, and national development.
