Over 13000 boxes were put together in Dubai to be sent to the people of Gaza affected by the ongoing war
Thousands of people turned up in Dubai last weekend as the Emirates Red Crescent intensified their efforts for the ‘Tarahum for Gaza’ campaign.
Many events were held in the region with over 4,500 volunteers turning out to show their support. Overall almost 13000 boxes were compiled to be sent to families caught up in the war in the Gaza region of Palestine.

The campaign was overseen by Dubai Cares who said that the response to the initiative was overwhelming. The supplies include food stuffs and items for women and children with many public and private organisations are also taking part along with the community.
Further events are expected to be scheduled in the coming weeks with more volunteers being urged to join in the campaign as a show of solidarity for the people in Gaza.
