The Dubai based operator took centre stage at the ULTRA’s 2023 Awards for its outstanding customer service and world-class products

Emirates Airline once again proved they are a cut above the rest in aviation as they scooped two awards this week culminating in them receiving the accolade of ‘Best Airline in the World’.

The Dubai based operator took centre stage at the ULTRA’s 2023 Awards as thousands of global readers recognised Emirates for its outstanding customer service, operational excellence, and world-class products.

Emirates is renowned for always setting the bar high, and the past year has been no exception. They have rolled out 10 A380 from their retrofit programme with completely new cabin interiors and Premium Economy seats and expanded their global network to more than 140 destinations.

The accolade stands as a testament to the idea that “travel is not just about the end destination, it’s also about how you get there”, a concept brought to life in the airline’s brand advertising campaign featuring Hollywood actor, Penelope Cruz.

Meanwhile, Emirates also reached another significant milestone when they announced news revealing they are the world’s first airline to operate an A380 demonstration flight using 100 per cent Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

This week’s flight departed from Dubai International Airport (DXB) with one of four engines powered on 100 per cent SAF, demonstrating its potential as a drop-in replacement that matches jet fuel’s technical and chemical requirements.

These latest developments not only reaffirm the airline’s continued commitment to providing elite and premium services, but also understate their pledge to reduce their carbon footprint and go completely green in the not so distant future.
