Free admission to the museum in Dubai marks International Museum Day taking place on 18 May

If you are a museum buff, then you’ve come to the right place.

And if you’d like to visit a new museum in Dubai for free, then you’ve definitely come to the right place.

Rich in history, arts and culture and so much more, the UAE is adorned with an array of different types of museums up and down the country and can be one of many interesting things to do in the emirate.

But if you ever wondered how the whole Dubai Expo 2020 project came about then think no more as a museum dedicated to the entire initiative is about to open in the city tomorrow, 18 May and to mark International Museum Day, admission is free.

To celebrate the opening of the latest addition to the museum scene in Dubai, you can enjoy complimentary entry. It is also offering a 50 percent discount on some other attractions within Expo City including Alif, Terra, the Women’s and Vision Pavilions, and Garden in the Sky.

The aim of the new addition to Expo 2020 is to preserve and reinforce the ongoing history of World Expo, which after some delays due to the pandemic, proved to be a resounding success, welcoming visitors from around the world.

The Expo 2020 Dubai Museum celebrates global collaboration and innovation, offering an immersive journey through the World Expo project.

Visitors can explore engaging mixed media exhibits and interactive content, providing a captivating experience for all ages, especially young visitors.

Tours will take place every 30 minutes, which will provide guests with an insight into the development of Expo 2020 from its initial designs right down to the opening ceremony.

But hurry if you want to enjoy this new spectacle for free as from 20 May onwards the museum will be included in the One-Day Attraction Pass which costs AED120.
