Love coffee? You could be helping people with MS

Sip coffee, support MS awareness: Over 60 cafés join forces in UAE

In the run-up to World Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Day on 30 May, over 60 of the UAE’s favourite coffee shops are teaming up with the National MS Society to raise awareness about MS.

From 30 May to 2 June, these cafés will be buzzing with a special mission: to educate the public about MS and show support for those living with the condition.

Participating cafés will serve your favourite beverages in specially branded cups and display educational info about MS.

Look out for QR codes that link to resources and personal stories of people living with MS. It’s an easy and enjoyable way to learn more about this condition while sipping on your latte or cappuccino.

The colour orange, symbolising optimism and warmth, will be everywhere, representing hope for people living with MS.

This community initiative is just one of the many ways the National MS Society is marking World MS Day in the UAE, joining global efforts to improve public understanding and support.

You can get involved by sharing your coffee moments on social media using the hashtags #WorldMSDay and #MSSocietyUAE.

Tag @nmssocietyuae to join the conversation and help spread the word. Every post counts and helps amplify the campaign’s reach.

In the UAE, around 19 in every 100,000 people are affected. Early diagnosis and treatment are crucial for improving quality of life.
