The new ballpark will be the first professional baseball field in the history of the Middle East
In a region known for its love of football (the one with the round ball), a new contender is stepping up to the plate.
Baseball United is swinging for the fences with plans to build the Middle East’s first-ever professional baseball ballpark. And where better to make history than in the heart of Dubai?
Set to rise within The Sevens sports and entertainment complex, this soon-to-be iconic ballpark will be the first of its kind from Morocco to India.
Baseball United Ballpark, as it’s tentatively called, will combine the latest technology with a nod to America’s favourite pastime.
Think Yankee Stadium vibes but with a Dubai twist: LED lights that could illuminate a small country, a synthetic turf designed for desert conditions, and seating for up to 6,500 fans.
The ballpark will feature dimensions modelled after Yankee Stadium, so you know it’s serious about bringing the big-league feel to the Middle East.

With fences at 318 feet to left field, 314 feet to right, and 408 feet to centre, you can expect some deep drives and highlight-reel catches.
But it’s not just the field that’s grabbing headlines; Baseball United is also paying tribute to one of its co-founders, MLB legend Barry Larkin, by naming the playing field after him.
Larkin, along with co-founder Mariano Rivera, is helping bring a piece of baseball’s storied history to the UAE.
Scheduled for completion by year’s end, this ballpark is set to host major events like the Baseball United Cup and Season One.
So, grab your glove, because baseball fever is about to hit Dubai, and it’s going to be a grand slam!
