Big things are happening in Expo City!

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has just approved an ambitious master plan to amplify the Dubai Exhibition Centre.

By 2031, this space is set to become the largest indoor exhibition and events destination in the region, with the exhibition space growing from 58,000 sqm to a whopping 180,000 sqm!

Hosting over 600 events annually (double the current 300), this mega venue will boast a built-up area exceeding one million sqm.

A 1.2km-long centre will offer an outdoor plaza, retail and F&B outlets, and a 300-key hotel. There will also be 8,000 sqm of office space and 5,000 parking spaces with direct access.

With capacity for 65,000 daily visitors, this dynamic hub is expected to drive economic impact between AED18 billion and AEDh54 billion by 2033.

The plan supports Dubai’s Urban Plan 2040 and the Economic Agenda (D33), cementing its position as a global powerhouse.

Expo City just got a lot bigger and brighter!
