All you need to know about the dates for the new paid parking system in this part of Sharjah
Heads up, motorists! They’ve just announced paid public parking to be introduced soon across Al Dhaid City in Sharjah.
Starting 1 January 2025, the aim here is to reduce parking misuse, support the emirate’s growing tourism and investment sectors, and provide a more efficient parking experience for residents, visitors and business owners.
Motorists will have to pay from 8am to 10pm, with Friday free. However, designated zones marked with blue guidance boards are the exceptions and will indicate payment timings.

Payment options include coin-operated machines, SMS services, the Sharjah Digital app, the Mawaqif app, and prepaid cards.
To ensure compliance, advanced digital monitoring vehicles will carry out inspections.
Don’t forget the areas with paid parking all week!
