Your ultimate travel upgrade: Air Arabia now connects Sharjah with Ethiopia’s vibrant capital city
Starting 30 January 2025 Air Arabia will launch non-stop flights from Sharjah International Airport to Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, strengthening ties between the UAE and Ethiopia.
The new route will operate three times a week – Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays – offering seamless travel for both business and leisure travellers.
Air Arabia’s latest addition aims to enhance connectivity and deepen economic and cultural relationships between the two countries.

Reportedly the UAE’s leading budget airline, Air Arabia connects over 100 destinations across Asia, Africa, and Europe, offering routes to iconic cities like Athens, Milan, Colombo, and Istanbul.
Operational since 2003, it continues to deliver affordable travel from its six hubs, including Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah.
As recent as Late December 2024, Air Arabia launched a new route to Yekaterinburg in Russia from Abu Dhabi.
The new non-stop service now operates twice weekly, offering passengers convenient access between Zayed International Airport and Koltsovo International Airport.
