Get set for major road disruptions in Dubai

Certain roads in the city will be temporarily closed to users this Thursday

 

Heads up, Dubai!

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced temporary road closures starting at 12.45 pm this Thursday, 8 February, due to the thrilling UAE Tour Women 2025 cycling event!

If you’re planning to travel around Dubai, be ready for major disruptions!

The race will begin at the Dubai Police Officer’s Club and finish at Dubai Harbour after covering a massive 149 km route, with roads like Latifa Hospital Street, Oud Metha Road, Al Seef Street, and more being completely shut down!

Latifa Hospital Street

Oud Metha Road

Corniche Street

Al Khaleej Street

Umm Suqeim Street and many more!

 

Stage 2: Al Dhafra Fort-Al Mirfa (111 km)

Stage 3: Al Ain Qasr Al Muwaiji-Jebel Hafeet (152 km)

Stage 4: Abu Dhabi Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Academy-Abu Dhabi Breakwater (128 km)

 

The race is expected to finish around 4.40 pm, and closures will remain in place until the last cyclist crosses the finish line!
