In the latest IMD World Competitiveness Rankings, Abu Dhabi and Dubai have emerged as global leaders in competitiveness.

Dubai ranks 4th, while Abu Dhabi follows closely behind at 5th, cementing the UAE’s position as a powerhouse in the global business landscape.

The IMD World Competitiveness Center, a pioneer in competitiveness research for over 35 years, evaluates cities based on a range of economic and business factors.

Dubai’s high ranking is attributed to its robust infrastructure, innovation-driven economy, and global business appeal, where sectors like real estate, tourism, and finance are thriving.

Abu Dhabi’s strength lies in its diversification efforts, with a focus on energy, technology, and sustainable industries, positioning the city for future growth.

Both cities have proven that strategic planning, investments in infrastructure, and forward-thinking policies are key to staying competitive on the world stage.

As they continue to build on these strengths, Dubai and Abu Dhabi are set to remain key players in the global economy.
