FREQUENCY 971 is returning to Coca-Cola Arena
Dubai’s electronic music calendar is about to get a serious injection of bass, with FREQUENCY 971 returning to Coca-Cola Arena for its third edition on Saturday, 10 October.
The one-night dance music showcase brings together two international heavyweights and one of the UAE’s familiar DJ names, with Italian dance music pioneer Benny Benassi, Danish DJ and producer MORTEN and Dubai-based DJ Slim taking over the stage.
If you’ve ever found yourself shouting along to Satisfaction, this is your chance to hear the man behind one of electronic music’s most recognisable tracks live in Dubai.
Benassi first made his mark internationally with the 2002 release of Satisfaction, created with his cousin Alle Benassi.
Its distorted bassline, robotic vocals and unmistakable electro-house groove became a defining sound of the early 2000s and helped propel Benassi from the club circuit to some of the biggest festivals and venues around the world.
More than two decades on, he remains a major name in dance music. Across his career, Benassi has worked with an impressive roll call of artists including Madonna, John Legend, Ne-Yo, Kelis, T-Pain and David Guetta.
His albums Hypnotica, Rock ’N’ Rave and Electroman have showcased his evolution from underground club producer to global electronic music star.
His work has also taken him to some of the world’s biggest dance music events, including EDC, Coachella, Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival.
In 2022, he teamed up with David Guetta for a fresh take on Satisfaction, giving the iconic track another run at the top of dance floors.
More recently, his collaboration with ARTBAT, Love Is Gonna Save Us, reached No. 1 on 1001Tracklists’ overall chart in 2025.
His latest album, Feel The Bass, sees Benassi return to the stripped-back, driving energy that has been central to his sound throughout his career, while giving it a modern update.

Joining him on the bill is MORTEN, another artist whose sound has helped shape the modern electronic music landscape.
The Danish DJ and producer is one of the key figures behind the Future Rave movement, having developed the sound alongside David Guetta.
Future Rave combines huge atmospheric builds with heavy bass, dramatic melodies and festival-sized drops, making MORTEN a natural fit for a night designed around big sounds and even bigger energy.
His collaborations have included artists such as ARTBAT, RAYE, Aloe Blacc, Trippie Redd, Clementine Douglas, Dave East, BONN and Lanie Gardner.
MORTEN has also taken his sound to some of the world’s biggest festival stages, including Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival, building a reputation for high-impact performances that are made for packed dance floors.
Completing the line-up is DJ Slim, bringing some homegrown UAE energy to the night.
A familiar name within Dubai’s DJ scene, Slim is known for energetic sets and an ability to move between different electronic sounds, adding a local perspective to a line-up dominated by international talent.
Now in its third edition, FREQUENCY 971 is once again bringing together global electronic music names and UAE-based talent under one roof.
This time around, the combination of Benassi’s classic electro-house sound, MORTEN’s Future Rave productions and DJ Slim’s local energy promises a night that moves from nostalgic anthems to contemporary festival sounds.
So whether you’re there for Satisfaction, the Future Rave drops or simply a big night out with a serious soundtrack, 10 October is one to put in the diary.
