A new early morning departure strengthens Emirates’ UAE–Ireland route

Emirates is set to strengthen its European route network this autumn with the introduction of a third daily flight to Dublin, beginning Sunday, 26 October.

The announcement adds more choice and flexibility for travelers journeying between the UAE and one of Europe’s most vibrant capital cities.

The new service will take off from Dubai International Airport at 2:10 a.m. GST, touching down in Dublin at 6.25 am. The return leg, EK166, is scheduled to depart Dublin at 8.25 am and arrive back in Dubai at 8pm.

This additional frequency complements Emirates’ existing afternoon and evening services, creating a more dynamic schedule for passengers flying in both directions.

Whether planning a business trip, a European getaway, or onward travel through Emirates’ global network, passengers now have more flexibility than ever.

Passengers on the new route will travel aboard the Boeing 777-300ER, configured with three cabin classes:

  • 8 private suites in First Class
  • 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class
  • 304 seats in Economy Class

The aircraft promises a luxurious and comfortable journey, complete with Emirates’ award-winning in-flight service and entertainment.

Dublin is known for its electric energy and charm.

From the pubs and live music of Temple Bar to cultural landmarks like Dublin Castle, the city offers a unique blend of old-world charm and modern life. It’s a favorite among partygoers, history buffs, and food lovers alike.

For Irish travelers, the new schedule makes it easier to connect to long-haul destinations like Sydney, Melbourne, Kuala Lumpur, and Bangkok, all accessible via Dubai.

The new flight announcement comes alongside the deployment of Emirates’ refurbished Boeing 777 aircraft on the Dublin route.

Starting Friday, 16 October, the airline will begin using its second retrofitted jet, part of a broader fleet enhancement initiative, offering passengers an even more elevated onboard experience.

With this new morning option, Emirates continues to strengthen its commitment to global connectivity and premium service.

Whether you’re chasing Ireland’s legendary hospitality or Dubai’s sun-drenched skyline, getting there just became more seamless.
