Abu Dhabi has ranked as the world’s safest city for the fifth consecutive year in Numbeo’s Quality of Life index.
The capital of the UAE scored 88.5 per cent for safety, maintaining the lowest crime score of just 11.5 per cent.

In a tweet by Abu Dhabi Media Office, Major General Staff Pilot Faris Al Mazrouei, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police confirmed that topping 431 cities is a testament to the security and stability Abu Dhabi enjoys.
Two other cities in the UAE also scored well on the Numbeo’s Quality of Life index. Sharjah was sixth with a score of 83.59 per cent, followed by Dubai at a score of 83.44 per cent.
