Dubai Sports World is back for the summer, transforming the Dubai World Trade Centre into a giant indoor fitness playground where you can work out, play sports and even get your steps in, all without melting in the 45°C heat.

One of this year’s biggest highlights is a completely free fitness zone, giving residents access to cardio machines, free weights and resistance equipment without paying a single dirham.

The venue also features a 1km indoor walking and jogging track, so you can hit your daily step goal without battling the blazing sun or waking up at 5am for a run.
Now in its 16th edition, Dubai Sports World is much more than a place to exercise. Think of it as the ultimate indoor summer playground, packed with enough activities to keep everyone entertained.
Spread across a huge 282,000 square feet of fully air-conditioned space, you’ll find six football pitches, 15 badminton courts, basketball courts, cricket facilities, padel courts, pickleball, volleyball and table tennis.
Families haven’t been forgotten either. There are dedicated children’s play areas, inflatable attractions, gaming zones and plenty of food trucks, making it just as easy to spend an afternoon here as it is to squeeze in a quick workout.
If you’ve got little ones keen to learn a new sport, 17 sports academies will also be running coaching sessions for both children and adults throughout the summer.
