The protocol which is effective from Sunday 5 September will open up the emirate to vaccinated tourists from around the globe.

Up until now only vaccinated travellers from the recently released green list could arrive in Abu Dhabi without quarantining.

Those arriving from a green list country will have take a PCR test on day six with those coming from other destinations needing to take tests on day four and day eight.
