Sheikha Fatima Park to officially open in December

Expect art, sports, a dedicated dogs’ area and more.

The grand opening of Sheikha Fatima Park will take place on 2 to 3 December it has been revealed.

A part of Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak’s contribution to the Golden Jubilee celebrations, the new park was developed by IMKAN Properties in collaboration with Abu Dhabi under the Department of Municipalities and Transport.

Inspired by the legacy and achievements of the Mother of the Nation, Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the 46,000 square metre park on Al Bateen Street is packed with family friendly activities including retail and food outlets and is the first park in Abu Dhabi with a dedicated area for dogs.

The park will also feature works of art created by the community, live music, sports, an outdoor cinema, a photography exhibition and more.
