COYA Abu Dhabi celebrated as one of the best 50 restaurants in the Middle East

Butcher & Still and Hakkasan Abu Dhabi were among other Abu Dhabi restaurants to receive accolades.

COYA Abu Dhabi has been named as one of the Middle East & North Africa’s (MENA) 50 Best Restaurants awards.

One of Team Yalla’s favourite hotspots which recently held AMIGOS DE COYA: Guest Bartending series event, the Peruvian establishment was ranked 34th in a black-tie event held in the Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi.

Famed throughout the capital for its enticing South American beats, incredible kaleidoscopic décor, stunning views of Al Maryah Island and of course, delicious Peruvian cuisine crafted by Head Chef Pang and his team, COYA Abu Dhabi is known for its bountiful brunches and wonderful atmosphere.

Other Abu Dhabi establishments to make the finest cut where 1930s Chicago steakhouse styled Butcher & Still in the Four Seasons as well as world-renowned Hakkasan Abu Dhabi based in Emirates Palace.

MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants Academy shortlist was compiled by food writers and critics, chefs, restauranteurs and highly regarded gourmets across six regions; the Gulf; Saudi Arabia; Levant-plus; Israel, North Africa (East) and North Africa (West).

For the 2022 list, each MENA Academy member voted for seven restaurants, with at least one of these located outside the country where they are based.
